transfer money to India from germany ...which is good ..ICICI or HDFC ?

I do have a Duestche Bank Account ...What I have to do for the SWIFT number ? Is it the number for the account in India or Duestche Bank

Deutsche Bank or any of the other major banks in Germany will transfer money anywhere in the world (if you have an account with them). All you need is the SWIFT number of the bank and the account number you are sending it to. I transfer money from my account out of Germany with Deutsche Bank all the time (online). I think you will only be able to use ICICI or HDFC if you are transfering money out of India, but to India you need a bank in Germany to do it.

The Bank to which you are going to transfer money, will be having unique number from which we can identify the branch of the bank. Regrading th swift number for your bank, visit the website of the particular bank or ask the branch over phone..they will be more than happy to help you...
