online international money transfer from US?

I just moved to the UK and I need to transfer money from my US bank account to my new UK bank account. Does anyone know about websites that allow you to do that for low cost?

Your U.S. bank should be able to do that for you by electronic funds transfer, whether your account in the U.K. is with the same bank or another. If you have online banking you should be able to organize it all yourself. It will be the cheapest way to move the funds, though you will have some fees or the bank will take its cut through the spread on the currency.

We wire money to Philippines thru Western Union. I believe the fee is around $25-30.

yes, you would need to wire it. most banks do not offer online international banking wires, unless you have signed up for a service contract, for security and PATRIOT act reasons and cant/wont do a regular "funds transfer."

i would go with western union, they are the most reputable.
