Hi
Can anyone tell me the cheapest way to transfer my GBP to CAD when I immigrate? I don't yet have a Canadian bank account as I am not living there yet. I have a paypal account so when I sell my house could I open a bank account in Canada and send the money from my british bank into my canadian bank via paypal? It sounds obvious but if you need to pay for this service elsewhere there must be something wrong with this option. Do you think? Also, if anyone does know, please can you tell me the commision likely to be deducted?
