How do you send/receive money with a money transfer service like Western Union?

Do they charge a fee if you go there in person and send it? If it stays in the US, is it a big fee? And do you only have to give the name of the person you're sending it to?
well the reason I'm asking and I just don't go to the store, is b/c I want someone to wire me the money for something I'm selling them, but I don't want to give him anything more than my name...
I'd like to know if Western Union will work for my situation.
Where would I tell the sender to send it? Just my city/state and name?

go to the store and follow the instructions. Yes there is a fee. and yes you have to give the name of the person you are sending it to.
