can I take a tax deferred annuitiy and transfer it into a money market or cd w/out penalty?

Prolley depends on alot of things... is it an annuity INSIDE an IRA...?? generally Annuities CAN'T be withdrawn from WITHOUT a 10% penalty plus taxes & plus possible surrender charges..... NEED to look @ your exact case to be able to give more accurate help
