I am now permanently shifted in UK and have some money in INDIA and now want that to be transferred legaly.how i can do that

You can contact a nearest western union Money transfer office or post office in town which give the needed details for you. You can also contact your nearest branch of ICICI bank for more details.

There is restriction of sending money to person outside India in form of gift as per RBI act. No resident is allowed to send more than 5000 US dollar a year to a persons outside India. If you want to send more money , you can but only with permission from RBI.
