Is there a limit on transferring money into a bank account in Asutralia from anywhere in the world say?

I was thinking more along the lines of quantity? Recently sold a house in London and planning to move to Australia to live and work.

Pay pal (which is owned by eBay) is the only major company I can think of to do this, its one Id personally trust.
