Can I be kicked out of Marines Boot Camp, because of a $2000 debt I have back home?

I have a $2000 debt from the MVA, that is now in collections, but I just became aware of this debt, and I am leaving for boot ccamp this Friday, can I be sent back from Boot Camp for this, or will they find out?

I seriously doubt they'll find out about it. Make arrangements as soon as possible to pay this off though. The USMC is particularly fond of Marines having unpaid debts - you might be able to arrange for automatic withholding from your paycheck or something. Don't mention it unless THEY bring it up. Good Luck in boot camp - the first few weeks are the roughest and it will be easier as time goes by. My husband was in from 89-93.
