View Full Version : How good would Tom Brady be if he had the same WR's that he has now for his career so far????

The reason why I ask is because Peyton Manning has had Harrison for 12 years, Wayne for 7 years, and Clark for 5 years.
Tom Brady has had different WR's for his whole career but has still has great stats and won 3 SB's.
Everyone keeps comparing the 2 but I think it is unfair as Brady has played less years and has had to adapt to different WR's every year.
We now see what he can do with great WR's..
What would his stats be like and how many more SB's would have been won if he had consistency like Peyton has had for his career?????
Sure the Colts are winning without Harrison for the last couple games but look at Mannings stats. His completion % and TD passes have taken a big hit.
Manning has never had to adapt to new guys every year.
Brady knows how to spread the ball out to different guys. Look at Mannings stats.
His passing TD's are to Wayne, Harrison, and Clark. No one else.

1 or 2 more superbowls. Atleast 75 more touchdowns for his career.

he might probably be a pro bowler every year.

Hed be right there with Peyton, plus the chemistry he and his recievers had would be magnified by ten. Hed never throw and incompletion

I wouldn' t make any difference. Tom Brady can't handle any more beautiful babes than he already has.........

In my opinion, I think Tom Brady will be the best QB that ever lived If he had Randy Moss,Wes Welker,Donte Stallworth,Kevin Faulk as his players in his entire career.

Don't expect this for too long, Randy Moss will ask for his old paycheck again, and Wes Welker and Stallworth will realize how much they could get in the market as well, I think it'll last another 2-3 years max, and that's if they don't hold out on their contracts. Besides Marvin Harrison, who did Peyton have to throw to early in his career? That's right, you don't know that either. Randy is just low dollar because everyone lost faith in him after what the raiders did to him.

Brady isn't good because of the receivers...He's unstoppable because of THESE receivers...but in the end...Brady is the guy making the decisions on where to throw and who to trust....he's the league MVP right NOW...I don't care what anyone else wants to say..you're wrong...he's going to win the MVP...I think he could get it even if he sits the rest of the games....30 TDs passing..2 rushing...just 2 INTs

If Brady had these receivers his whole career he might be singled out as the single best QB of all time by now...which I'm starting to question if he's not already....People wont like that I'm saying that...but he's on a pace to win his 4th ring if he can get around the Colts (he probably will). He would probably be on pace to break all the TD records...Yardage records...completion %..passer rating....wins...SB rings.....

Tom Brady is simply amazing....

It's irrelevant. No one knows what his stats would be. No one knows how many Super Bowls he would have won.

You can't complain about people comparing the two of them and then ask a question that...compares the two of them.

Just enjoy the game next week and don't worry about what Brady's numbers would have been if he had a consistent set of receivers to work with. That's not the way the Patriots do business...and what they've done has worked out just fine for them.

I'm just glad that THIS is the year I have Brady on my fantasy team!

You should be asking that question about Brett Favre. Brady has always had great weapons.
