How much savings do you think a 25, 35 or a 45 year old should have in the bank or in net worth?
Just curious on other's financial planning.

Having only a savings account is not optimizing your potentials. U need to spread out your money to 401k, 403b, Roth IRA, Mutual Funds, 529 Plan or even a business or home business.
Of course you want to do one or all of this if you can afford to. Each of these items mentioned has tax defer or deduction offerings that will work to your favor.
Compound and interest is a wonderful thing, especially if you start very young. The $100/mo u invest in a Mutual Fund or Retirement Account can be worth millions by the time one retires.
The rich take advatage of this, that's how the rich keeps getting richer.

I agree with the previous poster. How much in the bank at what age is not as important as diverse ways of gathering wealth.
